Cristina Benitez Allen LMFT is a queer Latinx/Chicana mother, writer and psychotherapist. She is an alum of Pacifica Graduate Institute with over twelve years in the field of Depth Psychology. She is a ritualist, trained as a priestess in sacred arts. Rooted in animist earth-honoring values, she is actively reclaiming her ancestral healing traditions from Mexico and is fluent in English and Spanish. Her private practice is virtual and based in the traditional lands of the Nisenan known as Sacramento, California. She works with clients in a holistic approach to connect the inner wisdom of the body and soul through imagination, intuition, mindfulness and dreamwork. She has trained extensively in the Hakomi Method, a highly regarded mindfulness based somatic psychotherapy modality that works with non-ordinary states of consciousness. Her treatment focus is on relationship, cultural wounds, trauma resolution, ancestral lineage repair, animist parenting and reconnecting to the sacred.
