10+ years of dedicated mindfulness meditation practice, semi-regular retreat practice, certified mindfulness instructor, successfully integrated contemplative-based clinical practices and philosophy into existing clinical programs of short and long-term residential programs treating people suffering from primary mental health concerns and substance use disorders. My wife is a public schoolteacher, our 20-year-old daughter attends NYU and is currently doing a semester abroad in London (where I've ALWAYS wanted to go, but hey, I'm totally not bitter. Much), and our 10-year-old son plays on the township's football team, just began 5th grade, and, I'm reasonably sure, will eventually destroy my house piece by piece with the assistance of our 2 dogs. I work in a now thriving private mental health counseling practice founded alongside Jacky Fernandez, a true partner in every sense of the word and genuine inspiration.
