Welcome to Discovery Mental Health Counseling! My name is Denise and I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY and FL and a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ and TX. As a Latina who speaks both English and Spanish, I am able to help clients with a language barrier access the support they need to heal. Our practice offers both online and limited in-person counseling sessions, either individually or in groups. One of the unique features of our practice is that we use a community approach in our sessions by working with two clinicians simultaneously. This approach emphasizes decolonization and helps foster a connection to the bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspect of each client.
