I began my career as a licensed clinical psychologist in community mental health before transitioning to private practice. I then took a position providing psychological services to the elderly, rising to the position of Regional Director. Fifteen years ago, I pursued another passion, providing psychological treatment to our U.S. Military. I was the sole psychologist assigned to a Deployment Health initiative. Later I accepted a position implementing a mental program for service members specializing in the handling of explosive devices. I frequently traveled to other parts of the world providing psychological treatment for service members returning from combat. I have expertise in treating individuals diagnosed with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Adjustment Disorders, and grief reactions. Currently, I practice at Awakenings Counseling Center where I maintain a caseload of military, retired military and civilian clients. Licensed to practice: VA CO OH TX FL NJ IL CT MN PA WI
