I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (doctoral level therapist) and hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I completed my pre- and post-doctoral clinical training at the UCLA Medical Center, where I continue to supervise and train advanced psychology and psychiatry students. In my private practice, I specialize in treating stress and trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, adjustment/life transition related distress, and grief/loss. I work with clients across the life span and all identities, but have particular knowledge in working with LGBTQ populations. My primary specialization is in treating the psychological impact of both acute and complex developmental trauma. I am extensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and exposure-based therapies, and utilize "third-wave" CBT interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am also trained in couples therapy and offer couples-based work, as well.
