I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience with both individual and group therapy over the last 20 years. This specialty developed through my work as an individual therapist at UCSF, as well as working with both adults and children in public schools in the bay area. While at UCSF, I received training in cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma informed practice. I received a certificate in Mindfulness after undergoing the year long mindful schools training. Recently, I’ve added Psychedelic Assisted Therapy to my skill set after completing the UC Berkeley Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Certificate program in August of 2023. One thing that makes my practice unique is that I am an active therapist, who is not afraid to challenge my clients, in order to help them grow. My clients tell me that they find my direct approach refreshing and far more rewarding in the pace of the work.
