Katie Mason, LCSW (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working in mental health with children, youth and adults. Many of her clients are empaths, deep thinkers, and have many talents, however may lack self-esteem, are facing a transition in their lives, experienced a trauma or need some guidance on tricky issues. Katie supports each individual or family system to navigate the struggles - be it depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, identity exploration, relationship pain - while highlighting strengths and building new skills. With a warm, authentic approach, Katie builds trust with clients to allow for vulnerability, risk taking, and ultimately personal growth. Katie likes to use a blend of insight-oriented and skills-based approaches, drawing from her experience with cognitive behavior therapy, trauma work, and attachment theory. Katie also has extensive training in treating eating disorders or other high risk situations.
