The most common word clients and colleagues have used to describe me is "zen". Yoga has been an important part of my mental and physical health for several years now, so I became a certified yoga teacher and now incorporate the philosophy, movements, breath, and meditations of yoga into my therapy practice. I specialize in helping people heal from childhood trauma and chronic anxiety. I believe that in order to do these things, the mind and body need to be involved. This is where the different modalities that I practice come in, including EMDR, yoga, and KAP. My passion is helping people who feel past trauma is holding them back and are ready to move into more calm and confident lives.
