Samuel (Sam) received his Master's in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, and is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in Connecticut. Sam also holds a Level 1 Integral Sound Healing (ISH) certification, and works to include sound healing practices as appropriate within his KAP practice with his clients. Sam's approach, rooted in humanistic psychology, emphasizes the importance of self-actualization and personal growth. Sam incorporates several therapeutic and evidence-based practice modalities into his KAP practice, including ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, to name a few. Sam is passionate about working with people seeking to address depression, anxiety, PTSD, race-based trauma, and relationship challenges. Being a Colombian-American, Sam also shares a passion for cultivating and honoring ancestral wisdom and works to share such wisdom and insights where appropriate throughout the KAP experience.
