Sarah Maria Filgueiras (aka "Figs") is a certified sex therapist offering services across Florida. Prior to sex therapy, Figs brings nearly 5 years of experience in substance abuse therapy, which she attributes to her approach, often described as dynamic, confrontational, and "spicy." Figs specializes in working with individuals navigating self-esteem, desire, social anxiety, dating, porn use, and exploring various aspects of sexuality, including kink, identity, non-monogamy and orientation. While she also works with couples, her focus is on helping individuals deepen their relationship with themselves and others, improving intimacy in meaningful ways. When not in therapy sessions, Figs can be found running, or curled up with a book alongside her cat, Napoleon—who’s known to make appearances during sessions.
